CCI®, headquartered in Lewiston, Idaho, is the premier manufacturer of rimfire ammunition, and also supplies centerfire handgun ammo, plus high-quality component primers for reloaders and industrial power loads for the construction fastening industry.

Located in the middle of some of North America's finest hunting areas, CCI has succeeded because we are hunters and shooters, and know what other hunters and shooters want. Our technical excellence is driven by that fact. Often viewed as the "smaller" ammunition company, this is anything but true. Although founder Dick Speer started CCI in a spare room in his brother Vernon's bullet plant, CCI and its sister company, Speer®), now employs around 800 people in the Lewiston area. In 1990, CCI dedicated the world's most modern and advanced primer manufacturing facility. Always the rimfire innovator, CCI put the industry into "catch-up" mode with the introduction of premium Mini-Mag™ rimfire ammunition in 1963. In 1975, we did it again with Stinger®, the world's first hypervelocity 22 Long Rifle product.

To top it off, CCI-Speer became the first US ammunition manufacture to achieve the internationally-recognized ISO 9001 certification for its quality and manufacturing systems. In December 2003, this certification was successfully elevated to the new ISO 9001:2000 quality standards. We wouldn't know how to do it any other way. We are here to deliver fine products that delight today's shooters.
